First Fruits

Proverbs 3:9 instructs us to honor God with the "first fruits" of our labor. As a church we want to worship God with our finances through tithes and offerings. Those who call CCC their "home" church are encouraged to consider giving a tithe to the Lord through our church. The word "tithe" means "tenth" and it is a way of honoring God with the first 10% of our income. By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your First Fruits are given to God.

Remember, giving is an act of worship. Whether in our Sunday Worship Service or in private worship, please remember to thank God for how He provides for you and how, in turn, you are giving to others.
