Born and raised in the North West of England, in the blue-collar town of Blackburn, Lancashire, Dan has called America home since 1999, when he came to Boston, MA on a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. For nearly 20 years he made a living as a seasoned, professional musician, but he could not ignore God's call on his life to full-time ministry.

Dan holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Boston University School of Theology. Before becoming the Senior Pastor of CCC in 2018, Dan served for nearly a decade as the worship pastor at his previous church.

Dan is passionate about engaging contemporary culture using biblical truths and helping others to understand how faith in Jesus and the Gospel give meaning and purpose to life.

Dan is married to Sarah, his beautiful wife and partner in life and in ministry. Dan and Sarah are incredibly grateful parents of three daughters.
